Time, rest & presence

How do we, as engaged people, come to rest and regenerate? Which quality of time suits me?

“Rituals transform being-in-the-world into being-at-home. They turn the world into a reliable place. They are in time what a dwelling is in space. They make time habitable.”

– Byung-Chul Han, The Disappearance of Rituals (our translation)

What does time rushing onwards do to me? What does it do to my relationships? What does it do to how we treat one another in society? We deliberately shape this topic slowly and quietly.

At the centre is becoming present: listening, verbally and non-verbally. The body as a space of the in-between, between closeness and distance. And a different relationship to time, in which not every stimulus has to be followed.

Physically, we explore qualities of time in movement. Musically, as always, we adapt the music to the energy of the room.

The concrete design is adapted to the topic, the group and the occasion.
